Following the ordinance of the government of the 08 of March 2020 (chapter 2 comma d) about public health, connected with the COVID-19 crisis. All the activities connected with museums and culture is suspended.
So we inform you that until further communication by the Government, the activities of Officine Culturali, including the tours of the Benedictine Monastery, the opening of our infopoint and our bookshop are suspended.
During the Easter holidays, the Benedictine monastery will be open the whole day from 9.00 to 17.00, also on Sunday the 5th and Monday the 6th. Moreover, in collaboration with the municipality of Catania it will also be possible to get on the roofs of the church of San Nicolò l'Arena to ‘touch the sky’ of Catania: a walk on one of the most panoramic points of the town

While the preparation of the exhibition is underway, in the room XIII a totally new space, that will characterise the castle in the coming four years, is shaping up: CUB, the Castello Ursino Bookshop.
