Next to the activities of promotion, valorisation, diffusion of information, and research, Officine Culturali promotes initiatives and cultural events aiming at transforming cultural heritage in a space for community integration.
A jewel of the Sicilian late baroque and one of the biggest monastery in Europe. The monastery, through its transformations, tells the story of the town and of Etna. In 2002, UNESCO inscribed it in the World Heritage List.
