we will disclose the ‘backstage’ of Officine Culturali and will
show the backoffice of our work.
March 24, will focus on the Monastore – the Benedectine Monastery
bookshop – with #souvenirsMW.
We will talk about books and local craftsmanship, and about the book
presentations that have taken place and will take place in the
Monastery. We will ask you to tell us about your shopping at the
March 25, will be the turn of #architectureMW:
an entire day dedicated to architecture using the myths and legends
of one of the biggest monasteries in Europe. The Benedictine
Monastery of Catania, with its stratifications, will tell us about
2000 years of history: from the Roman through the Late Baroque
period until the present days, with the contemporary restoration of
the architect Giancarlo De Carlo.
March 26, with #inspirationMW
we will invite the monastery’s visitors to capture and tell their
guided tour using tweets and photos. This will allow those who
follow us from pc, tablets or smartphones to discover the monastery
through the eyes of our guests.

We will tell you about our education activities, the guided tours
and the initiatives dedicated to families, schools and, in general,
the younger visitors of the monastery.
